Traditional educational approaches have resulted in a mismatch between what is taught to the students and what the industry needs. By the use of innovative teaching aid teacher can take an effective class . The teacher uses innovative teaching aids to modify the contents of the material. It will help the teacher to represent in a more meaningdul way, using different innovative works.
These days are the last days of our teaching practice. We all reached the school at proper time. I completed the lesson plans and conducted achievement test. In last day Headmaster signed our records. We gave sweets to all teachers, non teaching staffs and students. We all successfully completed our teaching practice.
In Wednesday we return back to the college. We completed our records and principal signed the records.
We reached the school before first bell on all days. Every teacher trainees signed the attendance register everyday. We attended school assembly on Thursday.in this week I got 8 periods in 9A class.
I taught about ratios. I transacted the contents and developed the main learning outcomes and provide proper follow-up activities. I assessed through reviews. Over all effectiveness of the class was satisfactory.
We reached the school before the first bell on all days. Every teacher trainees signed the attendance register every day. We attended the school assembly on Tuesday. In this week teachers are visited our school and observe the classess. On Monday general education teacher observed my class in 9A. On Wednesday our class teacher observed my class. Both of them are satisfied with my class and give proper instructions for further development.
The second phase teaching practice restarted on 21/12/2016 after the third semester B.Ed degree examination. There was no class in this week because of Christmas examination of students. We got exam duties in some classes. We helped the teachers to collect papers and arrangements. Friday there was a Christmas celebration. All students and teachers participated in celebration. After the program the school was closed for 10 days of vacation. The school will be reopened in 3/1/2017.
This week was very special for us. Because the teaching aid competition was held on sunday. Students from Mathematics, English , Natural science , social science and Physical science are participated and provide their own contributions in the competition various Teaching aids like still models, working models etc are prepared bye the students. It was an awesome experience for us. In other four days we completed our works with the helps of teachers. Physical education teacher provide a good theory class as well as practical.
REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
On this week, we all followed the regular time table of the school. We reached the school before the first bell, and signed the attendance register. On this week we got many substitution periods in different classes. We alternatively completed the class time table. Every day lunch were given to students. On Wednesday school authority provided eggs to the students. Every teacher trainees regularly attended our own classes. Every day school dispersed at 4.00 pm and each teacher trainees helped to line up the students at evening for keeping the school discipline.
CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
On this week, students were provided with many assignments and projects based upon the lesson taught. On 28/11/2016, the topic - distance between two points in a number line was taught and given assignments on the basis of the topic. Many teaching aids were prepared in this week. On this week I taught the chapter 'real numbers'. And also gave assignments to the pupil for self study. And also reflective journal and daily diary was done in this week.
OVERAll REFLECTION ON CLASS ROOM EXPERIENCE
On this week, I completed five lesson template at standard nine. On the basis of this topic five teaching manuals and many teaching aids were prepared. The prepared aid are chart, models, and activity cards. The learning experience provides were able to attain important learning outcomes among students. The teaching manuel and learning aids were used for helping in making the executing the learning activities effectively. Assessment was done effectively. Follow up activities was effectively done by students.
